About This Venue
Travis Collinsworth started as an employee and bought in with Todd Sherwood in 2006. The calendar runs whatever the night needs — Motown Mondays, Sunday Night Soul, the long-running 80s Dance Party, Patrick Sweany's early-evening Monday blues, and Guthrie Trapp's Wednesday guitar night. No velvet rope, no VIP, cheap drinks, a crowd that treats Five Points like the neighborhood it is.
The 5 Spot became an institution without ever stopping being a corner bar. Walk in without a plan.
