About This Venue
Artists can cut one or two songs and walk out with a limited-run 7-inch on black and blue vinyl. On April 19, 2014, White recorded and released a single within three hours of the performance. Beck, Michael Kiwanuka, and dozens of others have recorded here. Third Man is also a record store, label office, and photo darkroom — all in one building on 7th Ave South.
Blue Room shows feel like they're being made in real time, because they are. The venue is compact and curated, with a crowd that usually knows exactly why it came.
