About This Venue
First club in Nashville to book John Prine. John Hiatt, Townes Van Zandt, Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Rodney Crowell all played Elliston Place in the first decade. On one Steve Martin night, he marched the entire audience up the street to a Krystal.
Over 25 owners across its history. It survived. The venue is direct, unfussy, and still does what it's always done — loud touring shows, a close crowd, and a bar that doesn't ask you to dress up.
