New Faces Night feat.
Tuesday, December 1, 2026 · 7:00 PM · The Basement, 8th Ave South
The Read
New Faces Night is the oldest kind of Nashville bet: several writers, short sets, no reputation to coast on. Some of it will be unfinished. That is not a flaw in the format, it is the format. The upside is hearing a song in the window before anyone has decided what it is worth. The Basement is small, low-ceilinged, and unfussy, which keeps everyone honest — there is nowhere for a weak chorus to hide. Seven o'clock start, cheap enough to gamble on, and you are out early on a Tuesday. Go with the assumption that one of the four will be worth remembering.
The Room
The Basement
1604 8th Ave S
The smaller, original Basement — a low-ceiling room under what used to be Grimey's on 8th Avenue, where songwriter, roots, and rock bills feel thirty feet from the stage.
