Saosin: 20 Years of Self-Titled
Tuesday, November 3, 2026 · 7:00 PM · Brooklyn Bowl, Germantown
The Read
The self-titled album arrived in 2006 into a scene busy deciding whether screaming counted as singing. Saosin’s answer was to build songs around soaring melody and let the heaviness be structural rather than decorative. It made them divisive then and durable now — the record still sounds like a band trying to write hooks that could survive being played at full volume. Album-anniversary shows live or die on sequencing. Played in order, the pacing that made the record work becomes the pacing of the night, deep cuts and all. Brooklyn Bowl on a Tuesday, a room full of people who were sixteen in 2006 and have opinions about the tracklist. Expect it to be loud and slightly emotional.
