Legacy Concerts Presents: Cole Chaney - 18+

The Read
Chaney writes Appalachian-leaning country — plainspoken, unhurried, more interested in people than in punchlines. The songs work with a full band and survive without one, which is usually the test. He has built his audience the slow way, room by room, and this is one of the smaller rooms he will play in Nashville. The End is a narrow brick box on Elliston Place with a low stage and no separation between artist and crowd. It is an 18-and-over show, so expect a younger room than a country bill usually draws. Two nights later he steps into the Opry circle. Catching him here first is the better story.

The smaller Elliston Place room — dark, close to the stage, and exactly the right scale for local and touring rock bills that don't need a production budget.
