The Read
The project started as an anonymous production duo trading in filtered disco, falsetto vocals, and grooves engineered for continuous motion. Live it has become something more elaborate — a full band, layered vocals, and a visual presentation built around synchronized dancing rather than a frontman. It is closer to a revue than a rock show. The Pinnacle is large and new, with the sound system to justify low end at this scale. Expect no gaps between songs, expect the set to run as one continuous piece, expect a floor that does not stop moving. Monday nights are an odd slot for a dance show, which usually means the people who came out on a Monday are committed.
