Jody Nardone Trio
Saturday, September 19, 2026 · 5:30 PM · Rudy's Jazz Room, The Gulch
The Read
Early sets are a different animal. The band is warming up, the room is half-full, the volume sits lower, and the playing tends toward standards and conversation rather than statement. Jody Nardone is a working Nashville pianist, and a trio under his name at this hour implies exactly that: three players, no agenda, good material handled well. Rudy’s is in the Gulch, which makes this an easy first stop before anything else you have planned downtown. Get a table, order food, listen properly for ninety minutes, and be somewhere else by eight. The whole appeal is that it does not consume the evening — it improves the front of it.
