The Read
HARDY built his name writing hits for other people and then spent his own career dragging country toward heavy rock, which makes a costume show a natural fit rather than a gimmick. The Halloween edition is where the metal instincts get full permission — bigger guitars, a heavier setlist, guests who would not appear on a normal tour date. The country material still shows up. It just gets played harder. The crowd will be in costume, which changes the physics of a room this size in ways that are hard to describe and easy to enjoy. Expect covers, expect something staged, expect it to be an event rather than a concert. Two nights of this are on the books. Thursday is the one where the surprises have not leaked yet.
